British Airways are currently offering half price flights from Bangkok and Singapore to several destinations in Australia.
It seems to be the silly season for cheap flights. Along with Malaysia Airlines’ big flight sale, British Airways – another airline that’s usually too expensive for me to afford – is offering half price flights from Bangkok and Singapore to Australia. They are flying into Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. The offer ends on 19th February and tickets are valid until June 2007, but there are several periods when you can’t fly during those months, so check the BA webpage carefully when you’re planning your trip.
A lot of backpackers jump from Thailand to Australia or vice versa during their travels – I headed direct to Thailand after six months in Australia when I was doing my first travel stint – so I imagine this could be a popular deal.
