Lonely Planet writer Austin Bush has created a super useful Google Map of all the best street eats places he’s found in Bangkok – click on each of the icons to get photos and info of what delicacies you can find there. Foodie heaven!

Austin Bush has been writing the excellent Thai Food blog for several years now, and it’s packed with a wealth of information about where to find the best street food in Bangkok. Forget posh restaurants and expensive menus – Austin tracks down tiny hole-in-the-wall places that cater for the locals – many of the restaurants produce a single, signature dish and not much else. Austin co-wrote the latest edition of Lonely Planet Bangkok along with Andrew Burke.

One of the best ways to navigate through the huge variety of places Austin has covered is to check out the Google Map he’s created pinpointing their locations across Bangkok. You can get a taste of the map below (see what I did there?) – just click on any icon to get a pop up with info and photos – but probably the easiest way to use the map is to go to the full Google Maps version of Thai Eats. You can use the left hand navigation of the map to pick out restaurants and jump straight to their location on the map if you wish.
