My article “Enter The Dragon” about scuba diving in Indonesia’s Komodo National Park has just been published in Scuba Diver AustralAsia magazine
Just a quick plug for any Australian readers of Travelhappy – my article about scuba diving in the Komodo National Park has just been published in Scuba Diver AustralAsia magazine. I went to Komodo last December on the Komodo Dancer, spending seven days sailing out of Bali towards Komodo, diving amongst the islands along the way. While Komodo itself has become quite popular and very accessible due to everyone wanting to see the infamous Komodo Dragons, there is still relatively little scuba diving in the marine park protected waters around the island. As such, there is a plethora of weird and wonderful creatures to be discovered underwater as well as above water.

I previously wrote about getting a very up close and personal encounter with the Komodo Dragons here, complete with some very shaky video footage, and also a quick rundown of what I did in Bali, along with a guide to scuba diving the Liberty Shipwreck on travelhappy’s sister website Divehappy.com
