Spotted in Singapore last week – Peanut Fungus Soup, or, if you prefer, Old Cucumber Soup. Singapore is unarguably a gourmet city with an amazing variety of food available, but these two selections just don’t quite do it for me. Still, it’s a step up from the now infamous nutricious beef penis in pot which I encountered in China. I subsequently found out about the Chinese restaurant entirely dedicated to eating penises. Peanut Fungus suddenly doesn’t seem so bad…
