If you’re travelling to South East Asia this year, better take a look at the website of AirAsia.com – they are giving away a million flights for free, departing from May through to September

Seems too good to be true, but it’s all there on the AirAsia site – a million flights are available for free for customers who book in the next couple of months. The majority of flights depart from AirAsia‘s home city of Kuala Lumpur, from the newly opened Budget Terminal, but there are also plenty within Thailand that are flying to both international and domestic destinations.

Simply select the dates you want to fly and the available flights along with prices will be displayed. You still have to pay taxes and fuel surcharge on each flight (outbound and return), so it’s not wholly free, but even so, it’s a big saving. It’s a bit of a lottery trying to decide which dates to pick as AirAsia don’t indicate which specific flights have free seats – you simply have to keep entering dates til you find the free flights. Still, there are plenty of them still currently available as of today, so it’s a great way to save some moeny and perhaps explore a destination you hadn’t previously thought about.
