It’s breaking news in the Bangkok Post and Nation newspapers that David Beckham will be holidaying with his family on Thailand’s famous resort island of Phuket as well as Koh Samui. The only question for fashionistas is – where will they be staying?

Beckham Mania is about to break out in Thailand with the news that British football star David Beckham will be holidaying with his wife Victoria and three children in Phuket and Samui. Beckham is almost worshipped like a god in Thailand, demonstrated by the placement of a gold statue of David Beckham at the altar of a Buddhist temple in Bangkok. The Beckhams’ whereabouts is being kept secret, but there is a lot of speculation that the area in which the Beckhams will be staying in Phuket is Cape Panwa. This is one of the lesser known areas of Phuket and no doubt they will looking towards one of the more exclusive hotels there like Sri Panwa (a snip at $US 900 a night). For that sort of money, you get a 300 square metre private villa with your own pool and 270 degree view out over Cape Panwa’s spectacular islands. As it’s pretty much the most expensive place you can stay on Phuket, it’s probably where the Beckhams will be. No doubt the newspapers will keep us fully updated on their movements this week.

Lucky Thailand. Last week it was rumored that Beckham and Posh were in Borobudur since the venue was closed for short time due to important guest. However the newspaper was unable to confirm this so I assume that was just a gossip.
