Hi - Link to Ampawa has changed to http://www.dennh.com/thailand/ampawa.html

This looks interesting, thanks - and something that I would like to check out when we are there in May. Will add it to the itinerary!

D'oh! What a shame you left the camera behind. Still, good to know it's as good as it sounds

Spoooky!

Only last weekend I made a trip down there with a car full of friends - Excellent fun! I wasn't driving but near by is the sea where we had a great seafood lunch, then we went onto the canals, hoped onto a long tail for about an hour or so then had a look around the very busy market - 99% which sells food! If you like Thai food, this market is for you!

I didn't feel there was enough there to stay the night, although I could have easily been persuaded as a few beers sitting by the canal with a few friends is right up my street. We left around mid day and was back at my apartment in Bangkok at 8

Check it out, it's stunning!

*Don't forget your camera like I did :)
