I managed to get a picture in the McDonald's at the Tsim Sha Tsui bus terminal next to the Star Ferry terminal in Kowloon. They featured "Fishburgers". Right. $35 HK for a Big Mac. Also saw a McDonald's in Mui Wo (south side of Lantau Island... at the ferry pier). Same menu as in Hong Kong and Kowloon. At least the Chicken McNuggets were pretty much the same.

We also spent some time in the Philippines and noticed the McSpaghetti. We freaked when our bill came out to 783.00 on the cash register... then we realized we were dealing with pesos. And it was for all 7 of us... *whew*

And... did you know you can get Spam, eggs, and rice for a McDonald's Breakfast in Honolulu? Yup. Right there on Kalakaua St facing Waikiki. Totally cool!

The Australian burger was the McOz (and it only had one patty). But yes, it did have beetroot (which is pretty normal in Australia).

I can't say that I much fancy McDonald's in any country, but some of these interesting (for lack of a better word) combinations are worth exploring I would agree.
