Browsing Technorati for interesting blog posts can be a thankless task with the amount of dross on there, but I discovered these recent gems about Thailand:

You Sabai cooking school
A great post on a trek up the very special You Sabai cooking school, which is in the wilds of northern Thailand’s gorgeous mountain countryside. There are some gorgeous photos of said countryside on a report by Ross and Ben also about You Sabai on the Matador Travel site. If you are looking for Thai Cooking Classes that are a little bit different, this is the place to go. (See also my previous post on Thai Cooking Classes in Bangkok and Chiang Mai).

Excellent collection of photos interspersing an interesting trip report of a motorbike trip around northeast Thailand to Mae Hong Son.

Chiang Mai trekking – lots of evocative pix amongst a solid trip report, along with a post about staying at an Elephant Camp in Thailand too.

A much more laid back pace can be found at American expat Darwin’s new blog We Love Ubon about his adopted hometown of Ubon Ratchathani, which is a companion to the WeLoveUbon.com website. The latter gives a good overview of this thriving town in the north eastern Issan region of Thailand.
