Visit Hoi An, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful towns, direct from Thailand – Hoi An is just an hour’s drive from Danang

I just discovered that PB Air fly from Bangkok to Danang in Vietnam three times a week, on very small 50 seater planes. If you don’t mind being on such a small plane, this makes it easy to get to the town of Hoi An and experience this beautifully preserved old Vietnamese town for a weekend straight from Thailand if you want. Hoi An is about an hour’s drive from Danang, and the old town quarter is definitely worth spending a couple of days exploring. There are scores of tailors, shoemakers and bagmakers here too, so if you want to get some clothes at extremely low prices, it’s definitely worth investigating. Leave plenty of time and have plenty of fittings to make sure you get what you want. I wrote more about Hoi An here.

As long as the clothes, shoes, and bags are made with quality, then Hoi An seems like a good place to go to for some shopping barrage!
