More and more companies are cottoning on that the Net is a great place to meet travel buddies online, whether you’re looking for someone to travel with or meeting up again after previous adventures
The excellent Backpackers.com have just posted an article about TravelHikers.com, a new social networking site that lets you find other hikers to go travelling with. The article also mentions several other travel networking sites I wasn’t aware of before and which I didn’t mention in my previous post here, How To Find Travel Friends Online. Between the two there are around 8 sites you can check out to plan your travels and meet likeminded people who you might wind up meeting in real life too in some exotic locale.
