Bangkok to Samui Flights – Direct From Bangkok To Samui Airport
The fastest way from Bangkok to Koh Samui is by direct flight from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Koh Samui airport. Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways and Thai Smile fly from Bangkok to Samui with a flight time of around 1 hour. Bangkok Airways owns Samui Airport and so offer the most flights. Bangkok to Samui Budget Flights – Fly To Surat Thani and Transfer to Koh Samui Ferry
You can also fly with budget airlines to Surat Thani airport or Nakhon Si Thammarat airport and then take a ferry transfer across to Koh Samui. Budget airlines include AirAsia, Nok Air and Thai Lion Air.

Bangkok to Samui Trains
You can take the overnight train from Bangkok’s Hua Lumphong train station and then be transferred to the ferry to Koh Samui. It’s recommended to book the joint ticket that combines the train with the Lomprayah catamaran ferry crossing to Koh Samui. The catamaran is much faster than the ferry. Bangkok to Samui Buses
You can take an overnight bus from Bangkok to Koh Samui departing from Khao San Road or from the Southern Terminal.
