Hollywood comes back to Thailand again for Nicholas Cage's remake of Bangkok Dangerous. Cage will apparently be in Thailand for three months filming at different locations around the country - joining the long list of movies that have been made in Thailand
Nicholas Cage was spotted hanging around the notorious Soi Cowboy red light district recently - although it was all in the name of art. Cage is in Thailand for the filming of a remake of "Bangkok Dangerous", which will apparently be called Time To Kill. (Confusingly, Cage has previously starred in a 1989 flick also called Time To Kill) In the original, the main character was a mute, but Cage won't follow suit - they made his girlfriend a mute instead. There's few other details at the moment - it'd be interesting to know what other locations they'll be using around the country.
Wikipedia has an enlightening list of movies that have been made in Thailand - it's a big list of blockbusters like The Man With The Golden Gun, The Deer Hunter and The Beach - they even shot a bit of Star Wars III here.
