Saphan Khwai, Bangkok: A Quick Guide

Less glitzy than upmarket Ari and less popular than transport hub Mo Chit, Saphan Khwai is one of Bangkok’s most underrated neighbourhoods.

Saphan Khwai

Located close to the north end of the Sukhumvit BTS Line, Saphan Khwai is gentrifying quickly but it still has an undeniable gritty, industrial neighbourhood feel to it.

From craft beer bars to affordable hotels, Saphan Khwai’s mix of new businesses and old Thai shophouses give the neighbourhood an interesting vibe and make it one of Northern Bangkok’s best neighbourhoods to live in.
